SUMMER PROGRAMS

Our regular daily learning programs continue on through the summer with more emphasis on outdoor activities. We include water play, nature studies, field trips and other activities designed to take advantage of summer weather. We increase the number of teachers per student for field trips, depending on the age and size of the group. 

We encourage parents to volunteer to join us on field trips. Gradeschoolers go to parks for outdoor cookouts and sports. We also enrich the gradeschooler’s learning program by using the community as an extended classroom. The children attend Parks and Recreation Department programs. They visit the zoo, museums, and other community locales.
