As you stroll through our classrooms, we would also like you to notice how well staffed we are. Our high staffing ratios allow your child to receive the individual love and attention that he or she deserves.
Our teachers are hired for their positive attitudes, education, experience and love of children. They then participate in regular on-site training programs conducted by the director, supplemented with workshops and seminars presented by local colleges, daycare associations, and the Department of Social and Health Services, and all employees have their STARS training within 6 months. This ongoing teacher training enables Smart Start to maintain a professional, well-qualified staff that is enthusiastic about working with your child.Â
We have a very low turnover rate of employees that are dedicated and have been with us for several years. This allows our staff to develop relationships with your child, and ensures that your child will have a constant and dependable caregiver during their time with Smart Start.
